Background. The object of the study is risks in document processes and systems. The subject of the study is communications and elements of the management documentation support system. The purpose of the work is to develop and apply methods for optimizing document management based on risk assessments and management in document systems. Materials and methods. To solve the problem of optimizing management in document systems, a systematic approach is used based on the analysis of system relationships and reliability models of document systems. Results. A method of risk assessment in document systems and processes based on an expert analysis of the risk-forming potentials of system elements and inter-element relationships is proposed. Conclusions. The proposed method makes it possible to optimize the management of document processes based on reducing the risks caused by external and internal destabilizing factors. This makes it possible to increase the efficiency of management in project activities.
